Module 1: Citizen – Foundations of Democracy

Welcome to your first civics module! In this section, we’ll explore how each of us plays a role in shaping our democracy. You’ll dive into the core foundations that make democratic communities work: using your voice, participating in decisions, understanding your rights, practicing your responsibilities, and recognizing how representation connects people to their government. This module is all about discovering how individuals, and especially young people, can influence their communities and help build a stronger, more inclusive democracy.
