OUR MISSION
Civics Matters Arizona cultivates year-round civic education and responsible citizenship to empower young students to lead, serve, and shape the future of our state and our nation. By connecting learning to real experiences, locally and nationally, our programs equip students with the tools, confidence, and sense of responsibility needed to be informed, active participants in their communities and contribute to a stronger democracy.

Civics Matters Arizona is a year-round civic education program that helps students build civic understanding, leadership skills, and real-world experience through learning and action.
Get started by registering as a school or individual student and gaining access to the Civics Matters Learning Hub, where interactive modules guide participants through civic learning and unlock opportunities to engage in events, challenges, and leadership experiences.
