WHAT IS THE CIVICS MATTERS SUMMIT?
The Civics Matters Arizona Summit is our annual in-person convening of middle and high school students from across the state, designed to expand how young people understand and experience civics. Through hands-on learning and direct engagement with civic leaders, organizers, and community organizations, students move beyond the classroom to see how civic participation shows up in everyday life. The Summit equips students with practical ways to use their voices and connects them to ongoing opportunities to stay involved, deepen their community engagement, and continue participating in civic life long after the event ends.
